Back then I downloaded a pirated copy and copied the english language files over and renamed them to the same file names as the German files. You can't imagine how BAD the suit mode-activations 'maximum strength' etc. I bought Crysis for PC on disk, languages on the disk were German, Polish and Turkish no English. I live in Germany, my English is fine and I can't remember a localisation into German being even on par with the English version (maybe that's true for some Japanese games, but not the point here).
